Single Hop Series: tasty exploration into hop education.
Not all hops taste the same, so we thought there was no better way to show that than making the same beer, the only difference being the hops.
This batch is featuring Mandarina Bavaria in honor of CNY. It will have a flvor reminiscent of mandarin oranges as well as grapefruit, with smaller more herbal notes in the background.

Tap at Brewerkz, Riverside Point. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is orange citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter with a big hoppy bitter, citrus, light yeastie palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nice, but not the nicest single hop beer they have brewed.

On tap at Brewerkz Clarke Quay. Very bitter beginning with not too much aroma. Fresh bitterness but not much floral hops. Not much fresh aroma there. Sad stuff.
