You’ve tried all kinds of IPAs. Session and double and triple and black and red and cold. But how about a small batch, experimental White IPA? Wheat and coriander seeds give some witbier flavour notes, with a hefty whack of New World hops to remind you it’s still an IPA.

Can at home picked up from BrewDog Tower Hill. A light hazed golden orange coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is soft wheat, perfume, kaffir lime, sit yeast, sorachi ace like hop. lime, light cream. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, orange, coriander seed, perfume notes, spicy green citrus, numbing. Palate is semi crisp, highiish carbonation. Solid. Quite unique.

Can from BrewDog online. It pours pretty clear yellow - blonde with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is fragrant, toasty coriander seeds damp grain, wheat crackers, tangy orangey citrus, marmalade sandwiches, grass, peach and mango. The taste is firmly dry, pithy, zesty, waxy citrus peel, orange, tangerine, kumquat floral, orange blossom, peppery spice, coriander seeds, snap of bitterness, cereal, tou h of nuttiness and dull alcohol. Finish is zingy and tangy, then dries out. Medium body and fluffy carbonation. Decent stuff. Can't say White IPA is my favourite IPA but this one drinks well.
