Weer eentje van oude aantekeningen. Gedronken van de tap bij The Stuffed Sandwich (niet te geloven dat die geen entry heeft in Brewver) in 2006. Heldere dieproodbruine kleur met een fijne vuilwitte kraag. Geur is zoet, mout, fruit, peerdrups. Smaak is behoorlijk zoet, maar door het hoge alcoholgehalte (13%) en het vrij dikke mondgevoel past het wel. Lekker.

Not much different about the 2005 batch, sampled in July 2006. This year’s is every bit as good as the last one I had. Deep brownish-red color with a very thin beige head. Very thin lacing too. Rich aroma of caramel, malt and fruit. Full-bodied with hearty malt, caramel and nut flavors. Roasty character with the alcohol peeking through periodically. The finish is long and sweet, with a nice hops bite. Another winner!
