(Sample @ CBC 2016 Green Session, Copenhagen) Pours a slightly hazy iced tea colour. Aroma of caramel, agave syrup, acetic acid that's a little balsamico, some leafy notes, oak, pretty sour but fairly well-balanced by the other components. Flavour punches through with a big hit of acidity, quite a lime juice vibe to it, more lactic than the nose. Dark toasty malts, agave syrup, moderate to plentiful tequila, toasted wood, a bit of lime zest. Some sweetness from the malts slightly offsets the acidity. Light to medium-bodied, average carbonation. Given some tequila beers, this was actually a little restrained in barrel character but definitely doesn't hide it, which is a good thing. Not super fancy but I liked it, and the sourness didn't bother me as much as some Rare Barrel.

On tap @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016. This one has a darker looking almost amber bronze color, near clear and a small beige sidesticking top. Smells vinegar and wood mainly. Some dark berries, lingon perhaps. It tastes really vinegar infused and a little Flemmish mild. Nice and oily and above average on the carbonation. Heart warming and super acidic in the taste. A tad too for my taste right about now. It kinda ruins all the other elements in this one. Not bad still. 14.05.2016
