A collaboration with Kew Brewery, this beer is chocolately and robust with deep, layered peppermint aroma and flavours. Lactose affords silky, sweetness that compliments the milky, herbal quality of Perle hops. Willamette introduce subtle spiciness and warmth to the cooler flavours.

Bottle at home in London - sourced from Kris Wines. Pours rich brown with a moderate, frothy beige head. Certainly some cool mint in the nose, a little menthol, green pepper, mellow chocolate. Light sweet flavour with pleasant overarching chocolate character, a little bit of bittersweet baking cocoa, mint leaves, burnt toast, mild earthy bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation and velvety texture. Nicely balanced on the finish, with more baking cocoa, restrained bitter scorched earth, burnt wholegrain bread, underlying mint. A pretty solid effort overall.
