Brewed on commission for Kuhul Brewing Co.
Kuhul, originally a term for Al-Kuhul, an ancient eye makeup paste, also became the root of the word 'alcohol', meaning "distilled essence". Inspired by Maria the Copt, the first known female alchemist, our brew celebrated the unity of opposites. A perfect blend of tradition and innovation. Axiom of Maria embodies this artistry, inviting you on a visual journey that reflects the unique and complex flavors of our brews.

Fluffy, dense snowwhite head over fully hazy yellow beer. End of can solid deposit. Green leaves, poplar, citruspeel, some hopoil; faint asafoetida. Dry, rootspices, asafoetida, faint resin, pine. In the end there's some impression of restsugar. Light body, faint hopoil slickness; soft carbonation. Everything OK, but you're not going to get crazy about Maria.
