Before Mad Scientist was Mad Scientist, we actually contract-brewed a few releases back in 2015, so for our 7th birthday in 2023 we revisited this first recipe because we love märzens the same way as we love framed structures.

Draught@TCBW2023. Amber colour with a mediumsized foamy white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some mild nutty tones with some mild grassy, floral and wooden bitterness to it. Flavour is sweet malts, some mild grassy, floral and wooden tones with some slight ryebready tones too.

From can at MB2 after yule tide beer tasting 09.12.23. Straw colour. Fine aroma and taste of pale caramel, some fine hops and bread. Good!

Kicsi, nem túl tartós hab, félbarna szín. Gyümölcsös, gabonás, lágeres illat. Gabonás, lágeres ízek, némi gyümölcsös aromával. Könnyű, enyhén szénsavas, alig keserű. Kellemes, jól sikerült sör.

A small taste on tap @ TCBW 2023. Pours dark brown with a low head. Aroma is light nutty malts. Flavor is light nutty malts with some hops. Basic.

Tap at #Marionett, Budapest. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is light sweet malt, watery metallic hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light yeast, floral hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.
