Bottle shared at work. Jet black, oily pour, no head. Nose is huge coffee, sweet booze, low chocolate, spicy touch that I guess is the rye, no trace of the bourbon. Taste is big sweetness first, booze and some chocolate, then the coffee kicks in, roasted and slightly acidic notes, and closes with a surprisingly apparent, spicy rye finish. Heavy body, almost no carbonation. A little bit over the top altogether.

Kávés, pörkölt malátás alap illatok, ami mögül halványan kivillan a rozs savanykás aromája is. Íze pörkölt malátás, savanykás a rozstól és kissé dohos a chipstöl. Utóíze tartós, kávés és kissé savanykás. Testes sör.

Tap at Csakajósör, Budapest. Poured a hazy dark brown with a thin tan head and some clingy lace. The aroma is smoky malt, dry coffee, dark chocolate. The flavour is smoky malt liqourice with a rich alcoholic, coffee palate and a frothy mouthfeel. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Can’t believe this is 15% but no complaints from me.

deep dark brown colour, half inch of creamy dark brown head; aroma of coffee tasted chocolate (Kapucciner szelet for the Hungarian raters); taste is fully dominated by heavy roasted coffee with some sourness and spicy alcohol in the ftertaste; no bourbon, no complexity - somehow disappointing. NOTE: I wanted to make a head-to-head comparison and selected Struisse Black Albert as comparator...well, Hungarian beers are not there yet...

0.33l bottle. Hazy dark brown, almost black body, thin light brown head. Lots of sediment in the bottom of the glass. Aroma of chocolate, cocoa, moccha, cherry and peppery booze. Taste of chocolate, pepper, cocoa and moccha. Medium-full bodied, not much carbonation. Very nice beer.
