Handpull cask at the Old Horse, Leicester. Mid- to dark red-brown with a thick creamy off-white head. Woody, floral scent with some forest floor and some wild grass. Taste doesn't quite come together: bittersweet with an intense medicinal sourness mid-sip. This dies down enough to enjoy with malty herbal aftertaste. It's an odd little beer.

Gravity cask at the Birmingham CAMRA Beer Festival 2015. Poured a clear dark amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is sweet malt, strawberry fruit. The flavour is light bitter with a light woody hop, light sweet malt, light floral palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. A great session ale.
