Cask at the William IV, Stourbridge, 28/02/2025.
Golden copper topped with a lasting off white head.
Nose is malt forward, stewed fruits, toffee.
Taste comprises raisins, brown bread, straw, grains, biscuit.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close with a light bitter edge.
Not bad.

Cask at The Good Intent, Brum. Aroma grainy, slightly sour. Clear light brown. Thick foamy white head. Grainy and malty before developing a sugary streak. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Pleasant enough twiggy bitter.

Hand-pulled half-pint in The Good Intent on 4th March 2024. Amber body, off-white crust. More malty than hoppy with a semi-sweet caramel flavour.

From cask at King Charles II, Worcester, Worcestershire, with OGJ 02.01.18. Dark golden. Uneven off-white head and lacing. Moderate aroma and taste of pale malt, crystal malt and meadows. A bit flat.

Cask at the Duke William, Stourbridge. Pours dark orange with a small head. Aroma is orange squash and caramel. Taste has orange and caramel to start and a fruity boiled sweet finish.

Cask at the Duke William. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt light hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a light watery malt light hop palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation.
