Aika aikaansa kutakin.

On tap at Fermentoren, pours a clear dull amber with a small beige head. Aroma has plenty of oxidation, bready malt, toffee, and a touch of fruitiness. Flavour is rather harsh, with bready caramel, alcohol, and some perfumey notes. Poor balance and quite harsh fumes. This needs work.

On tap at Fermentoren. Pours clear amber with a white head. Nose is fairly light, some bread and fermented wheat on the nose. Flavour has burnt toast and burnt toffee and some extremely harsh alcoholic notes. This is quite poor.

(Keg at Juova, 20250516) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized, white and it lasted long. Aroma had grass, malts, raisins and prunes. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, molasses, raisins, malts, earth and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, grassy and bitter. A pleasant malty brew with sweet notes.

Malty, caramely and bitter with loads of hops, pine, resin, grapefruit and sweetness, hints of earthiness and toffee. Old skool caramely malty and intensely hoppy American BW, reminds me of Nøgne #500. Tasty for old skool hopheads.

0,44l can from the brewery. Canned 1/25, bbe 12.1.2027. Almost clear amber beer with medium, quite long lasting head. Aroma is pine and caramel. Flavor has huge amount of pine. Some caramel and herbs too. Long lasting bitter piney finish. I like my barley wine with bit more Belgian twist.
