Bottle picked at Huntly farmers market. It pours clear pale oily golden. The aroma is musty, damp oak, tangy, must, leafy, muddy barnyard, funk, apple skin, splash of cider vinegar, twist of citrus, white grape, gooseberry and apple crumble. The taste is firmly dry, tart, puckering, nip of acidity, crunchy green apple, apple skin, gooseberry, white grape, redcurrant, light tannin, dry oak , touch of sherbet, pithy lemon - lime, slick and some musty basement. Finish is bone dry. Medium body and slick mouth feel. Interesting and enjoyable. Nice depth to it.
