Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is yeast, light citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a yeast, light hop bitter, lager-like palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Rather bland. Didn’t enjoy this at all.

Notes of resin, mandarin and cardboard on the nose, and quite bitter European hops which dominate in the mouth. The malt is quite sweet and the palate watery. Not loving this.

From a 330ml bottle on 13/12/2012. Pours a cloudy yellow with a small head. Has a relatively strong yeasty, fruity aroma. The flavour is also fruity and yeasty, with stone fruit sweetness (particularly apricot) prominent. The bitterness is very modest. Has quite a creamy texture and the carbonation is on the high side. Just okay.

Brewed in support of sufferers of Motor Neuron Disease. Bottle, 9C. Gold with an inch of white head that leaves spots of lacing. Grainy aroma with passionfruit, white pepper, melon. Soft, slightly creamy mouthfeel. Sweet grain/ light bread, apricot, light tropical notes, pepper. Balancing bitterness. Crisp, refreshing. Expected this to be dumbed down, but it’s not. Very pleasant quaffer.
