Crimson Earth tells the story of two paths that flow into one. One great barleywine base, after having been diverted into two separate barrels, one Cherry Brandy and one Heaven Hill, reunites once more as a harmonious blend, carrying with it the influences of its 45-month journey. Impressions of cherry pie a la mode unfold with the warmth of roasted almonds, the subtle bite of Korintje cinnamon, and the soft, floral notes of whole Ugandan vanilla beans.

Quite nice. Rich dark malts. Cherry impressions, chocolate, moderate roast, a little earth. Pretty well rounded. Solid.
