There was a time when summers felt endless, cartoons ruled, and nobody talked about IBUs. Well, this is not that time. But it IS time to drop the deets on our new IPA. "There Was a Time" was brewed with premium pilsner, white wheat and carafoam, and hopped with Nectaron, HBC 1019, and Sultana hops, so it features notes of passionfruit, juicy pineapple, and just a little bit of dreamy orange creamsicle. It's juicy. It's nostalgic. It's weirdly comforting.

Aromas are malt, caramel, resin, yams and a hint of MJ. Flavors are similar to nose with MJ coming out more and add in some citrus. Slightly more sweet than bitter with carbonation a bit soft. Decent satisfying beer.

Pours a hazy, peach-orange, with smallish head. Aroma is tropical fruit and citrus, with an astringent note. Flavors follow, including the astringency. Soft mouthfeel. Moderate hop bitterness through the finish. It's good.
