Aged in whiskey barrels, this stout boasts roasty flavors and notes of coffee and chocolate. It's balanced mouthfeel supports the hint of bourbon and a smooth warming finish. The addition of boysenberry and raspberry make this a real treat.

Surprisingly woody nose, like a baseball bat, very little whiskey at all. Decent enough black color, with a thin tan ring around the edge. Finally some whiskey impressions on the palate. But mild and restrained. I catch a bit of berry at last, but everything together overrides and store roast malt. Put it down to the aging, I guess. Some nice chocolate at the end.
