[backlog] 15-02-15 // bottle at The Castle Hotel, Melbourne. Murky orange coloured beer. Bubbles from the carbonation are visible. Strange. It doesnt taste that carbonated. Yeasty. Light blueberry aroma. --- Beer merged from original tick of Blueberry Hefeweizen on 10 Mar 2016 at 16:30 - Score: 6. Original review text: Drank at 15.02.2015 at The Castle Hotel, Melbourne. Bottle from Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy light amber with a frothy white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is big blueberry, light yeast. The flavour is light sweet, even lighter acid sour, with a dry mineral smooth blueberry, light yeast palate. Moderate to light bodied with lively carbonation. Nicely balanced and very refreshing.

Bottled 33 cl from Chas Cole Cellars, Belmont/Geelong, on August 1, 2013.Label states 4.5% ABV.Clear golden color, big fluffy lasting white head. Sweet, sugary, blueberry scent. Sweet, berry, sugary taste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness. Tart, blueberry finish.Enjoyed this one more than I first expected, nice!

Pours amber with a small white head.Nose shows artificial blueberry and little else...Same thing in the way of flavours, blueberry dominating, although a little banana, wheat and bubblegum shows too. Pretty subtle though.Good low carbonation works well.

Tap, GABS. Cloudy greyish orange, white head. Aroma has lots of nice blueberries and their skins. Light bready body. Some tartness. Refreshing in small quantity, couldn’t drink much of it. Perhaps overly fruity - or at least too much skin in the finish.
