Lopsided is made to taste like a dark roasty beer with the apperance of a pale beer. An addition of lactose gives the beer a nice smooth mouthfeel. Conditioned on cocoa nibs and coffee from Lilla Kafferosteriet.

From tap. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty, caramelish. Toffee, roasted and dark malty. Toffee and caramelish finish.

Tap at the brewpub. Poured a clear medium amber with little life. The aroma is big dry coffee, vanilla and a little wood. It’s like smelling a brand new freshly opened jar of Gold Blend. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth coffee malt light chocolate mineral bitter palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation.

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity chocolate and coffee aroma. Fruity malty milky chocolate and coffee flavor. Has a fruity malty milky chocolate and coffee finish with weak roasted hints.

Draught @ All In Beer Fest 2014. Pours brown with a frothy goldenish brown head that slowly dissipates while leaving some thick lacing on the glass. Smell is slightly malty with caramel, graham crackers, dark roast coffee, dried cherries, coffee hard candy, dry soil and hints of coffee with milk. Taste is sweet, tiny bitter and slightly malty with sweet dark bread, caramel, graham crackers, toffee, sweetened dark roast coffee, minerals, coffee hard candy and moist soil. Mouthfeel is slightly crisp, round and medium bodied. Finish is slightly sweet and slightly bitter with caramel, toffee, graham crackers, coffee, minerals and coffee hard candy. Intriguing brew. Smells and tastes exactly like those coffee hard candies you find in the asian stores… Enjoyable…
