A green hopped beer from our lovely friends in Somerset.
Brewed in collaboration with Nicholson’s pub managers, this 4.2% blonde beer uses a massive charge of First Gold hops. The hops were picked, left undried (or "green") and brewed within 24 hours, resulting in a beer with a unique hop flavour that can only be achieved once a year.
Moor Envy is even greener, as it is unfined, and will retain a natural yeast and hop haze, and even has a slightly green tinge to the colour!

330 ml can from Gulating Stavanger. Slightly hazy golden body with a nice, dense white head. Mild aroma of pale malt, fresh grass and a hint of peach. Flavor is rather mild and light as well, some pale malt, light citric fruity, moderate bitterness. Medium body and a bit short in aftertaste. Not bad, but it might be a bit old, at least it does not feel very refreshing but rather plain and uninspiring.

Huge offwhite lasting head. Clear pale yellow faintly green body with very light carbonation. Herbal floral aroma with resiny notes. Interesting and unusual aroma. Dryish floral grape taste with mealy herbal notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish resiny floral aftertaste with earthy herbal notes. Interesting and unusual flavour, too. Quite light and fresh, but I wish I’d had it just after it was brewed. No BBD, so no idea how old it is. (0.33l can from ... some shop near home.)

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - hazy golden with a nice lacy head. Nose - apple and flowers. Taste - stewed apples, Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry but gently tapered finish. Overall - it’s a lovely beer. Nice, start, middle and end.

Tap at the bottle shop bermondsey. Translucent golden straw coloured pour with a small halo of white head. Aroma is delicate floral honey, light pine, faint citrus hop. Flavour is composed of really light grains, chalky, light grains, light pithy citrus hop. Palate is light, little thin, chalky, highish carbonation. Very dry finish. OK.
