Brewed in collaboration with Nicholson’s pub managers, this 4.2% blonde beer uses a massive charge of First Gold hops. The hops were picked, left undried (or "green") and brewed within 24 hours, resulting in a beer with a unique hop flavour that can only be achieved once a year.
Moor Envy is even greener, as it is unfined, and will retain a natural yeast and hop haze, and even has a slightly green tinge to the colour!

A hazed golden amber ale with a thin big bubbled off white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, cereal character, nice. In mouth, a nice grainy biscuit malt with grassy floral British hops, quaffable. Cask Days 2014.

Growler (keg). Just hazy gold with a large white head that lasts well. Aroma of lemon flowers, kaffir lime, leafy herbs. Fairly dry with a little white peachy sweetness under citrus that’s more wafty than punchy. Some pepper at the end too. Pretty good, hits the spot on a warm night.

On keg at the Barley Mow, Bristol 14/11/2013. Slightly hazy gold, with a thin white head and plenty of fizz. Tangerine and stone fruits, biscuity malts, a touch of grassy hops and dryish finish. Good.

Cask at the Euston Tap, 17/10/13. Hazed golden with a moderate white head that retains well, good lacing ensues. Nose is citric fruit, light spice, toasty maltage, earthy light hop presence. Taste comprises orange pith, nutmeg, toasted malts, lemon drizzle, spice. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, smooth and massageing on the palatial, light grassy bitterness in the finish. Solid enough GB, perhaps expected a little more from Moor !

Keg at the Well and Bucket, Shoreditch. It pours hazy pale golden orange with thick white head. The nose is fresh, orange, tangerine, apricot, minerals and sherbet. The taste is crisp, orange, tangerine, minerals, grass, straw and pepper with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Crisp, juicy and very drinkable stuff.

Cask at the Euston Tap - London. Pours mostly clear yellow with a fine, foamy white head. Dry lemon nose, some straw. Light sweet flavor with rindy citrus, lemon rind, mild lemon jam, some minerals, bitter hay. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Good condition. More bitter lemon rind on the finish with further dry minerals and hay. Decent.

Cask at The Feathers (Nicholson’s pub), Broadway, London SW1. A dark golden coloured pour with a medium fluffy white head. Sweet, fruity aroma. Tastes quite sweet, hoppy, fruity, slight bitterness. Quite pleasant and very easy to drink.
