Tap at Brewdog Birmingham. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin off white head and bags of clingy lace. The aroma is light malt. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter with a dry earthy mineral malt, yeast, light medicinal hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Keg at Brewdog Shepard?s bush. Opaque black coloured pour with a thin greyish creamy head. Aroma is mineral, nutty, soft choccy roast, musty and dried fruit. Flavour is nutty, praline choc, roast at the back of the throat. Sweet with semi dry woody finish. Not much Belgian quality. Palate is semi sweet with moderate carbonation . lingering liquorice and praline. Interesting enough.

Keg at BD CJ. It pours darkest small beige head. The nose is earthy, roasty, spice, liquorice, earth, umami and light smoke. The taste is bitter, roasty, earth, charred wood, ash, smoke, coffee, acidity, spice and light spice with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not quite sure on this one. Lots of umami about it.

Keg at Brewdog Edinburgh. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of coffee, light spice. Taste is roasted bitter. Medium body, slightly thin finish. Not a right lot of Belgian character to be honest.
