Packed with a powerful hop punch, this Golden IPA features a strong citrus, floral and tropical fruit flavour with a satisfying bitter finish.
Brewed with primarily pale malt, we added a dash of Munich to stiffen the backbone of this beer. Hopped with Summit, Centennial, Cascade and Citra, we boosted the flavour by dry hopping Cascade and Citra to finish it off.

On tap at Chesham Brewery shop, Chesham, Bucks. A golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, malty aroma. Tastes similar, hoppy, malty, some tropical fruit. No great shakes but OK.

On tap at Hudson's Yard, pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Nose brings out English hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is fairly bitter, with dry floral hops and biscuity malt to back. Not terribly exciting but refreshing and drinkable. Solid.

Old Fountain. Keg. Almost clear amber beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry and crisp. Light dry malts, very mild caramel. Minerals and mild tangy marmalade. Little bitter floralness. Ripe fruits. Nice carbonated nip keeps it lively. Semi dry finish. Mild bitter linger.

Keg at the Old Fountain - London. Pours clear gold with a creamy white head. Some damp grains in the nose, grass, ripening citrus. Light-medium sweet flavor with slight minerality, grain, orange rind, bread. Light bodied with average carbonation. Decent balance to finish, some lightly toasted pale malts, pine, citrus rind, more bready pale malts. Simple gear.

Cask at the Post Office Valults, Birmingham. Poured a clear light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is light grassy hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a grass nettle hop citrus bitter palate. Light bodied witn soft carbonation. Drinkable but doesn’t really float my boat.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Clear, pale amber. Thin, bubbly, white head. Spicy biscuit malt. Fusty orange. Some fruit salad sweets. Taste is light bitter, with some of the spicy dryness. Fairly full palate for the ABV. Well carbonated. Finish is short bitter. Nicely fusty. Liked this one.

On keg at the Craft Beer Rising event at the Drygate brewery. This beer promised lots with resiny hops going into blood orange notes. It delivered somewhat on the taste and although the bitterness here was better than in some other beers, I felt that it could still have left me with more refreshment on the finish.

Keg at the rake during the Firebrand tap takeover. Clear light orange coloured pour with a steadfast off white cap. Aroma is caramel, spicy tea leaf, maybe a little off note in the aroma. Touch of malt vinegar maybe. Flavour is a bit better, caramel malts decent hedgerow English hop and some tea leaves. Palate is very gassy and bloating, semi sweet and dry in the finish. I didn’t enjoy this as much as the others.

Cask @ Leggers Beer Festival, Dewsbury. Deeper amber with a thin head. Has a very fruity nose and fairly strong tasting, although lesser stated in its fruity taste for it.
