My parents owned a 'Maxi' about the time the Capri was prominent. Session hopped ale, decent but nowhere near decadent.

Half-pint, well kept cask ale at Abel Heywood. Clear golden body with a white head leaving spotty lacing on the glassware. Fresh smell of citrus and grassy hops. Impacts of citrus and peaches to the taste character followed by a backdrop of leafy hop bitterness to the finish. Fits the season. Good drinking outside the pub in sunny weather (Manchester, 01.05.2025).
