After brewing, drinking and talking about IPAs, Imperial Stouts and fruited sours you sometimes want to drink something different, so together with the team at GCB we set out to brew a traditional Extra Special Bitter, inspired by the classics from the UK.
This is the Swedish brewed version, brewed with the finest British malts and hopped with East Kent Golding, Perle and Northern Brewer hops.
A pub beer to drink in large format glassware, with good friends.

440ml can from Vinmonopolet Langnes. A two-finger thick off-white head slowly fading over a hazy amber body, leaving lacing rings down the glassware. Promising on the nose with leafy hops and cereal malts. Fine blended taste of caramel malts and resinous hops followed by a bittersweet finish. Medium bodied. True to the style, more or less. Burk från SB. Bärnstensfärgad aningen disig vätska med medelhögt skum. Stiltypisk ESB men med större beska. Får mig att tänka på Jämtlands tidiga öl. Brödig malt, lätt karamellig sötma och rejäl med maskrosbeska. Trevlig

Smell of malt, caramel, faint honey. Honey colour, tiny white head. Aroma of malt, earth, rubber, some dried fruit. Medium carbon. Medium sweet, lightly bitter. Expected more.

MBCC. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and fruity malt. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 240525
