Undated can drunk 5/10/25.
Clear bright bronze-cantaloupe. Medium-sized, white head, quickly recedes to spotty cover.
Not the most riveting hop duo and it smells like you'd expect of restrained grapefruit, pine, christmas spice and damp earth. Biscuit and cracker from the malt without much comforting base malt, it seems. Clean, though.
Bit of petrol-like character in the flavor. Pretty sparse malting, though not quite thin. Still, wouldn't hate more malt depth. Lots of cracker with pine, grapefruit, earth, winter spice.
If we're being honest, I bought this bc I thought it was an NEIPA. It is very much a classic APA, albeit a pretty decently-done one. No caramel, toast, heavy pine/resin. But also could use a bit more compelling hop character and some more malt depth.
