Barrel-aged Wheat Ale + Rakau, 4.7%
For this new wheat beer aged in our trusted white wine barrel, I've chosen to balance the usual citrus notes with a nice dry-hopping of Spanish-grown Rakau. The result is quite lively and complex, with some wonderful hoppy aromatics and a thirst-quenching tartness.

Bottle. Gusher. Color: Hazy pale yellow-ish golden, white head. Aroma: Wheat, vinuous, some tartness, hoppy notes. Taste: Nice blend of wheat malt, hop, citrus and stone fruit notes, some white wine, some oak wood and funk. Light to moderate tartness, finishing very dry with over moderate bitterness. Just below medium body, below average carbonation. Nice complexity. Typical Le Soupir: Quite low in alcohol, not your average kind of beer, full of taste and a lot of flavours to explore. Very nice.
