Marynka is a dual purpose hop traditionally used for bittering pilsners. But it has a excellent aroma quality and used in large amounts late in the boil gives a superb floral spiceyness.

500ml bottle. Pours light amber, small white head, average retention. Aroma of caramel malts, citrus, flora, chewiness. Taste is caramel malts, grassy, citrus, pepper, lovely level of bitterness which combines with the spice. Moderate body and average carbonation. Not had this hop variety much but its used well here in a traditional bitter style. Arguably a touch simple but very enjoyable particularly in the finish.

Cask at the Walsall CAMRA Beer Festival 2014. Poured a crystal clear light amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is grassy floral hop citrus. The flavour is medium bitter with a lovely smooth grass hop light bitter spice light pepper palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Loved the Marynka but I think it needs something else too. The palate was a little watery & weak and there was little in the finish. A good beer though all the same.
