First spotted on Lake Windermere in the early 1900’s the Tizzie Wizzie is said to have the body of a hedgehog, the tail of a squirrel and a pair of bee-like wings. This light well balanced ale with its fresh citrus aroma and spicy undertones make for a beast of a beer.

Cask pint at the Sand Martin (a Marston’s pub), Cardiff. Jennings was not mentioned on the pump clip, but the bartender said they were the brewery. Deep golden colour, moderate and lasting creamy white head. Malty and slightly nutty flavour, tolerable English hops and a hint of malt vinegar in the finish.
