This Russian Imperial Coffee stout was aged 4 months in stainless steal then 4 months in American Oak barrels that previously contained French Whisky from Bretagne.
The Coffee was provided by our roaster friends at Terre de café, it was added in our hopback and by cold steeping!

Bottle at Luppolo Station in Rome, thank you Pierluigi. Black color with a brownish small and persistent foam. Nose: mild black olive (although quite hidden), licorice, vanilla root, Mouth: sweet licorice, commercial licorice stick, bean.
