Cask at the Anchor shared with jmgreenuk; hazy amber pout with a thin white head, anise aroma, big aniseed taste along with a hint of citrus, pale malts thought I would dislike this but it is quite pleasant.

Cask at the Anchor, Birmingham shared with RichTheVillan. Poured a hazy light round white head. The aroma is pure fennel. The flavour is medium bitter with a fennel bitter malt palate. Light bodied with flat carbonation.
