Cask at the Anchor shared with jmgreenuk; clear amber pour with frothy white head, malty aroma, taste has subtle hop along with some floral action, bitter finish, lived up to expectations.

Cask at the Anchor, Birmingham. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt hop. The flavour is medium to light bitter with a malt hop bitter palate and long bitter finish. Medium bodied with flat carbonation. A classic English bitter.
