Crosse Keys Spoons. Cask. Light haze on this gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and has good fine carbonation. Smooth semi dry malt, lightly sweet. The hops are pretty well balanced. Light spicy bitterness with thin orange pith. Whisper of lemon. Finishes dry and crisp. Refreshing and clean.

Cask at The Playhouse, Colchester. Poured a clear light amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is light aromatic hops leading to a medium bitter flavour with a super hoppy slightly pepper spice palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask by hand pump at Smithfield Hotel & Bar, shared with Finn. Close to clear golden coloured body. Thin layer at the top, poor lacing. Leafy hops to the nose. Fruity hoppy taste alongside a basement impression. Satisfying dry bitter finish. OK (Manchester, 21.01.2013).
