Cask at The Anchor, Birmingham. Poured a clear dark amber with a round white head. The aroma is rich malt, red berry fruit and yeast. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a big alcoholic liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation and a long bitter finish. A fine Christmas Ale.
