Poured from a can into a tulip glass
Pours a muddy red to maroon to brownish with a finger of light tan head that quickly disappears leaving no lacing
Aroma is strawberry hard candy, fresh ripe raspberry, blueberry and lemon juice.
Taste follows the aroma with a Greek yogurt character meshing with the aforementioned berry medley. The lemon note shows up in a very light tart bite at the end.
Mouthfeel is medium to medium heavy with a low carbonation accenting the smoothie style. Not as sweet as anticipated which works good but also not as tart as expecting. Quite creamy for a beer with no lactose. Finish is short but leaves the mouth watering.
Overall it's a a nice berry smoothie sour ale. I think everything plays well together and at 7% it is very drinkable. Personally a touch more sour would push this up a bit but it's very enjoyable, especially on an 80 degree Friday.. I'd gladly try this again.

Taster at VooDoo. Pours a murky, purple color, with no head. The nose is cherry juice, strawberry limeade, and light caramel. Sweet and juicy, with a heavy, pleasant sour flavor. Medium body, very acidic, and clean. Quality and fruity.
