Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a clear deep mahogany with a bubbly white head. The aroma is big malt, red berry fruit and weak hops. The flavour is weak bitter, light bodied with a watery malt palate and a short bitter finish.

Cask at the Ship Inn, Porthleven. Clear deep amber - brown beer with a tidy off white head. Palate is smooth and semi dry. Smooth malt, touch of toffee caramel. Decent dried fruits underneath. Little peel bitterness and light bubblegum ester, not sweet. Smooth finish. Tasty enough!
