Gravicask on the second day at Plymouth Camra Beer Festival 2016. Clear golden body. Bubbly white head, scattered lacing. Aroma of ripe fruits. Blended flavours of bread, caramel and lemony hops. Mid-dry bitter ending. Rounded on the swallow. Satisfying (Shared with Finn, 24.09.2016).

Cask at the Anchor, Digbeth, Birmingham. Poured a clear light amber with a frothy white head and lots of broken lace. The aroma is weak citrus fruit leading to a medium bitter flavour with a zesty red berry fruit palate and some liqourice and a little hop spice. A bitter though? It’s surely a pale ale.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 21/02/10. Deep gold in colour with a slight white head. Aroma of apricot and peach, with a hint of spicy hop. Flavour was sweetish, with cereal malts, more fruit and a bitter finish. Ok.
