This is a straw coloured best bitter. Delightful hop flavours soften to a delicate malt finish.

From tap at Lord Nelson. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Mild fruity and yeasty aroma. Mild crisp grassy hops flavoured, light metallic and yeasty too. Bitter and dry flavoured finish. In poor condition.

Cask at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen. A hazy light yellow beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is light citrusy. The flavor is sweet with light notes of malt, citrus, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.

[Cask at GBBF] Pale golden. Fruity apple aroma with an unfortunate note of garbage. Sweet and sugary with medium body and salty bitter finish.

Cask at the Ipswich Beer Festival 2004, gravity dispense. IBF list says "straw coloured, bitter flavour and soft malt finish". That pretty much sums it up. Nice hops, good bitterness, refreshing - should be served cooler than it was at the IBF.

Very pale beer bordering on yellow. The aroma and flavour are both plainly hopped. Overall just another pleasant bitter.
