Bottle at Taps Beer Bar Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear light straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is pretty weak malt leading to a medium bitter, hoppy, aromatic flavour. A rather drinkable refreshing Pilsener that won’t win too many awards or friends.

Bottle. Very pale gold with a small white head. Grainy aroma with some earth, grass and butterscotch. Taste is sweet and quite fruity with a little balancing bitterness. The butterscotch fades down the glass and the end becomes drier. Would have guessed this a pale ale and I rather fancied a pilsener.

From a 330ml bottle on 8/10/2010 (label says bottled 20/7/2010). Has quite a strong grassy and slightly floral aroma. Has some bready notes and a fair bit of honey in the flavour, and has a decent hoppy finish. A pretty good pilsener which would be quite sessionable.

Pale gold pour with a small rapidly fading head.A fair bit of floral and grassy notes on the aroma (along with a white wine-like hint, alla nelson sauvin style) before the hops gives way to a strong sweet caramel and toffee-apple hit. Nice, but very un-pilsener like!Flavours include lots of German biscuity malt and finishes a bit grainy. Again, the hops seems to be light and floral rather than spicy and grassy. Too sweet, not enough bitterness. After a while cereal notes start to show too.Needs more carbonation to cut through the sweetness.

Draught at AIBA, Melbourne. Hazy golden. Lightly grassy nose. Dryish and crisp with an interesting combination of deep papery malt and hard aromatic crystal malt. The hops with aren’t very noticable in the aroma sparks a pleasantly bitter finish. A good thrirst quencher!
