A dark, smooth-textured mild, with rich caramel and chocolate-malt flavours leading to a subtle, light, bitter finish with hints of spiciness.

Cask @ Winter Beer Festival, Prince of Wales, Shrewsbury. Nice and smooth with a brilliantly subtle caramel & chocolate influence. Tasty.

Cask at the Craven Arms, Birmingham. Poured a dark brown colour with a reddish hue and an off-white head. The aroma is dry malt leading to a weak bitter flavour with loads of roasted malt and a gorgeous smooth palate with a malty finish. A classic session mild from the UK’s oldest brewery.
