On tap. Pours black with moderate dark tan head. Aromas of chocolate fudge, chocolate icing, vanilla, and slick roasted malts. Flavors of chocolate nougat, graham wafers, dark sugars, vanilla and oily roasted malts. Maybe a touch of coconut in the finish. A very nice sipper and somewhat balanced for a pastry stout.

Fles gekocht van de brouwer (Jason) die ook bij In De Wildeman werkt. Pikzwarte kleur, olie-achtig, maar geen schuimkraag, maar dat heb je vaker met bieren waarin kokos zit. Geur is sterk vanille, zoet, wat minder kokos, gebrande suiker, tikje umami. In de mond is het behoorlijk zoet en vanille. Smaak is erg zoet. Zachte koolzuurprikkeling, waardoor het wel erg smooth aanvoelt. Warmende alcohol. Behoorlijk volle body. Smaak blijft redelijk lang hangen en eindigt met een licht geroosterd bittertje. Lekker, maar wel erg zoet.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Lots of chocolate and vanilla with supporting coconut, roasted malt, a little alcohol. Medium sweet, some booze, full body. Surprisingly delicious, need to check out more from this brewer.
