We had the absolute pleasure of hosting Damian from the legendary Emperor’s Brewery for an EPIC collab. This Salted Caramel Chocolate Imperial Stout is a proper mouthful, loaded with cocoa nibs and caramel essence to dial things up. 11%, rich, and ready to disappear fast.

330ml can. Pours black with a small brown head. Aroma of caramel, maple, chocolate. Taste is quite sweet, much more maple than caramel to my tastes, and certainly not salty, chocolate, a little roast bitterness, some alcohol warmth. Full bodied, smooth. Really nice, but not exactly as described.

Draft at the Strait and Narrow Lincoln. Jet black colour with a tight brown head. Aroma and taste are chocolate and salted caramel to toffee. Sweet taste and fairly strong. Rich full body.
