Good as Gould is a new cask only special, making the most of the best and freshest UK hops! 🌾 For this Modern English Pale we used Godiva & Harlequin hops to showcase their quintessentially British qualities. Expect orange marmalade on the nose; notes of white grape, hedgerow and plenty of spice!

The Great Manchester Run is took place yesterday, meaning the city, and bars were much busier at midday on a Sunday than usual! Deeper golden with a small head, its strength provides plenty of body but it remains distinctively hoppy in taste.

Cask at the Smithfield Tavern, MCR, 17/05/2025.
Clear golden amber topped with a lasting light beige head.
Nose is biscuit malts, fruit slice, brown bread.
Taste comprises soft malts, herb, light breads, mellow fruit twang.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close.
Okay cask affair but coming over as more of a bitter than a pale for me.
