Cask at The Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a medium reddish brown with a thin broken white head. The aroma is weak but malty and slightly hoppy. The flavour is medium bitter and malty with a strange slightly sour aftertaste. An ok bitter, but a bit of a disappointment as a Christmas ale.
