Pours amber with a quick fading head.Very malty aroma, big honey and golden syrup notes. more barleywine than DIPA. Still good though.Pretty similar flavours, big bready, honey and nutty malt notes with just a little earthy hops.Body feels a bit watery, needs some carbonation.

Bottle, 13C. Bright gold with a small white head that doesn’t last long. Aroma of oranges, resin, peach and hay. Very low carbonation. Sweet at first - Opal Fruits!, then lots of bitter oranges. Finishes towards dry with lingering bitter oranges and . An odd beer that grew on me - it seems a bit thin and lacking a real malt presence at first, then the way the sweet fruits lead into the bitter finish starts to cohere. A little bit of retsina about it.

Bottle at home 24th march 2013. On open this smells too sweet, pours clear. Taste is too sweet, not enough carbonation and no bitter balance, not a good IPA, there is a metallic taste also. I managed to drink it easily though, does not seem 7 %

Aroma: Dry, dusty hop aroma. Caramel, toffee and orange.

Appearance: Deep amber, clear body. No head, no carbonation, no lacing. This is one ugly beer...

Taste: A bit on the harsh side. No hop bitterness, in fact it’s quite sweet for a DIPA - caramel and toffee. Quite boozy.

Palate: Thin body with an oily mouthfeel. Flat carbonation.

Overall: This bottle showcased the Nugget hop. Unfortunately, it’s easily the worst beer I’ve had from the usually excellent Harbour - flat, dull and overly sweet.

Bottle from Connolly’s Wines, Solihull. Poured a slightly cloudy bronze with a thin white head and low carbonation. The aroma is rich, strong and extremely hoppy. The flavour is strongly bitter, hoppy, spicy, dry and with pepper notes on the palate. It was a fine beer to taste, but the extremely hoppy taste might quickly become a little too much.

Bottle from beermerchants.com. A dark golden/amber coloured pour with a small white head on top. Sweet, fruity, malty aroma. Tastes quite sweet, fruity, caramel, malty, hint of marmalade. I rather enjoyed this one.
