Pours hazy amber-brown with a minimal beige head. Boozy orange aroma. Taste of orange, booze, brown sugar, raisin, molasses, anise. Finish is sweet. Can't say I've had anything quite like this after almost 6000 ratings.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Big orange blossom aroma with notes of rum, orange yam, floral bouquet, dark malt, syrup, some alcohol, raisins. Sweet flavour, light booze. A bit strange indeed, but not in a bad way.

Well it is certainly sweet! Almost doesn’t taste like a barley wine. The orange character is pretty strong, at times jammy and like orange creamsicles. There’s also caramel, toffee, stewed berries, mellow booze, sugar syrup. Lightly sticky finish. It’s interesting stuff. The orange blossom gives it a lift.
And I love these baby cans that Metalhead do. Perfect for big beers.
