For Fenton we decided to use Idaho 7 and Simcoe hops blended together on to a firm malt base. Idaho 7 brings a lot of apricot and peach character, while Citra offers a hit of grapefruit and ripe tropical fruits. Bitterness is low and fermentation on our house yeast offers up juicy stone fruit flavours.

Gul uklar med hvitt skum. Lukter stenfrukt og noe sitrusskall. Fruktig, middels bitter. Smaker stenfrukt, noe barnål og sitrus. Middels lang.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 9th May 2025. Opaquely hazy amber with a dull foam depositing a full lacing. Spiced, tropical fruits aroma. Spiced peel, tangy fruits, pines, resins and suggestions of liquorice in-mouth. A long, bitter finish developing. Medium bodied with smooth texture. Interesting ale, nicely crafted.
