The Sunstone was a near mythical navigational aid for the Vikings. The stone polarizes light, helping those Mariners get a bearing on the sun, even in cloudy weather, to get to Iceland, Orkney and even the new world.

Cask at The Globe, Aberdeen. It pours clear deep orangey - gold with a fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, zingy, tangy, orangey citrus vibes, marmalade sandwiches, toasty grains, cereal and a touch of nuttiness. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, pleasing bitterness which builds and lingers, earthy, cereal, toasted nut, pithy, zesty, tangy orange marmalade, tangerine, kumquat and some orange blossom with bitter, peppery finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy cask carbonation. A fairly hearty gold with an enjoyable tangy orange citrus character. Has a fresh bitter bite to it.
