Cask at the Birmingham Beer Festival 2012. Dark amber pour with a big bubbly short-lived head. Rich sticky toffee caramel aroma leading to a rather surprising bitter flavour which thankfully retains some of that toffee from the aroma. Extremely refreshing and packed with complex flavours. I wouldn't be surprised if Thorntons were selling this one day!

Cask at Birmingham Beer Fest 2012; Clear brown pour, easy drinking beer, mild hop and malt notes, a little metallic.
