Can bought at Hop Locker, Southbank Market. Aroma is resinous with a lemon juice streak. Underlying soggy malts. Clear amber gold. Thick foamy white head. Bitter. Resinous. Added quinine. With a spicy hit. Peripheral citrus adds both sourness and sweetness. Slightly jammy. Underlying light malts. But it's the resin and quinine that hog the limelight. Light-medium bodied. Slick verging on oily. Soft carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. A fruity take on an Elusive Westie

Keg draught at the Pharmacie Arms, Syston. Dark gold, a bit of haze with sporty white head. Light perfumed aroma, woody notes with some caramel. Big bitter taste, some citrus peel. Flowery character. Medium body with heavy carbonation. Just didn't really vibe with this. I love a good West Coast, but this one seemed to be lacking the character if not the intensity.

Pours hazy orange with a medium white head. Mostly lacing. Aroma: plenty of nectarine and marmalade. Taste: nectarine, grapefruit and cheesy hops. Fruity palate. Clean bitterness.
