(Cask at Southampton Arms, Gospel Oak, London, 29 May 2025) Amber colour with frothy, tan head. Malty nose with notes of apricots, toast and herbal/earthy hops. Malty taste with dried fruit, apricots, bread and a balanced earthy bitterness. Light body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well made bitter. Nice one.

30/5/2025. Cask at the 38th Colchester Real Ale and Cider Festival. Caramel chipboard malty biscuit. Slightly sour. Disappointing.
